2001——The former School of Mechanical Engineering of Wuxi University of Light Industry and Jiangnan College merged to form the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangnan University.
2010——The " Tang Xiang Qian Special Education Fund " donated RMB 40 million to establish the " Junyuan College of Jiangnan University " in cooperation with Jiangnan University. Relying on the School of Mechanical Engineering of Jiangnan University, it cultivates excellent mechanical and electronic engineers with excellent innovative ability and strong engineering practice ability in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering.
